The Site
davidrogers.id.au is my small piece of Internet real estate which I use to showcase my skills as an aspiring programmer.
I have just completed a Masters of IT at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, and am now working
for Fujitsu in Darwin as a .NET programmer in its Web Solutions Centre.
Apps
I have uploaded a couple of applications which I created whilst learning how to program.
Some of them you may find useful. Some of them not. Some are there merely to demonstrate to
potential employers that I can write code.
In any case, they are all available for download via the apps page. I hope to update a couple
of them when I get a chance, as I am now a far more mature programmer.
The Blog
I also write a blog (technical IT content only) which can be accessed from the above menu as well.
Basically, whenever I come upon something interesting, or find a cool way to solve a problem, I write a post about it.
In a fashion, it is a content management system for me, which I can always refer back to. But it may also help others, so I
gladly make it publicly accessible. There have been countless number of times when I googled a problem, that the answer was sitting
there in somebody's blog. So, this is my way of giving back, and hopefully helping others.
